FEMA and the SC Emergency Management Division provide financial assistance for COVID-19-related deaths. Please note – this is not an SCAC program or service.

To register for COVID-19 funeral assistance, the representative or family will need to call 844-684-6333. The registration line is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Multilingual services are available. Applicants who use a relay service, such as a videophone, Innocaption or CapTel, should provide FEMA with the specific number assigned to them for that service so that agency representatives are able to contact... SCAC has received the SC Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office’s (RFA’s) memo regarding the FY2022-23 Millage Rate Limitation-Inflation Component. Each county’s millage rate increase limit will be based on 4.70 percent, plus any increase in population.
