On Thursday, July 8, SCAC hosted a virtual discussion about two recent Supreme Court opinions impacting county government, concentrating on the implications from the decisions in Mercury Funding v. The South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) is pleased to announce the availability of $30 million in competitive grant funds for the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2021.

The Basic and Economic Infrastructure grant programs offer assistance to local governments and other eligible entities for publicly-owned water, sewer and stormwater drainage facilities.

The FY22 Grant Program Strategy, Grant Application and other updated program documentation will be posted to RIA's website (under the Resources tab) no later than July 14, 2021.
