House Bills - April 11, 2025
H. 4325 (Reps. Grant, King, Jones, Waters and McDaniel) — Urges the President of the United States to end tariffs that negatively affect BMW and other critical industries in this South Carolina.
H. 4336 (Reps. Hartnett, Davis, Teeple and Landing) — Defines that assault and battery of a high-and-aggravated nature occurs when a person injures a federal, state, or local law enforcement officer; a corrections officer; a healthcare professional or worker; an emergency response employee; or an educational professional while they are performing their official duties or as a result of those duties.
H. 4337 (Reps. W. Newton and Bannister) — Grants subpoena powers to the Legislative Audit Council, expands prerequisites for the director position, enhances access to records and facilities, establishes penalties for non-compliance, and revises definitions of confidential and "records."
H. 4338 (Reps. Sanders, B.L. Cox and Forrest) — Prohibits counties and municipalities from limiting the use of specific styles of exterior cladding or finish materials for residential or commercial buildings.
H. 4340 (Reps. Bauer and B. Newton) — Removes exclusions for presidential preference primaries from early voting provisions.
H. 4341 (Reps. Wetmore, Edgerton, Brewer, Crawford, M.M. Smith, Caskey and Sanders) — Increases the speed limit for roads where municipalities or counties can build and maintain speed control devices.
