SCAC Planning & Zoning Webinar: Comprehensive Planning in a Landscape of Change
Webinar attendees will learn about comprehensive planning in the face of changing population demographics, economies, and environments. Key elements of the comprehensive plan will be discussed, and the insights and experiences from one county's recent comprehensive plan update will be shared. Changes in state and federal government policies that could impact local services and communities also will be discussed.
Participation will satisfy the 3-hour continuing education requirement for planning and zoning officials governed by the South Carolina Planning Education Advisory Committee (SCPEAC). On completion of the webinar, participants will receive a certificate of attendance via the email used for registration.
Group Viewings: Officials may receive continuing education credit for a group viewing of the live webinar. The group's facilitator must register for the webinar and be physically present during the viewing in order to track and report attendance to SCAC. Certificates of attendance will be emailed to the group facilitator.
