The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (DES) will host the South Carolina Brownfields Conference on April 29 at The Laundry in Columbia.
This full‑day event will bring together state, federal and local partners to explore redevelopment strategies, legal and administrative tools, success stories, training opportunities and future enhancements to the Brownfields Program.
The event will feature a Councils of Governments panel and breakout sessions. See the conference agenda.
In addition, the New Jersey Institute of Technology Technical Assistance to Brownfield Communities Program is hosting with DES a Brownfields Basics "Know Before You Go" webinar on April 16. Please register if you are interested in attending the webinar.
