Gate Entry
If you are checking in, use one of the two lanes closest to the gate house. The third lane on the other side of the gate house is for guests already checked in.
When you arrive at the gate, you will receive your check in instructions and directions on where to go next.
Residences guests:
- On Sunday, check in at the underground garage entrance across from SGP Conference Center at the Residences to pick up your room key and valet or self-park. Other days, check in at the Sweetgrass Inn.
Sweetgrass Inn and Boardwalk Inn guests:
- Go to those properties for check in.
Home, villa and condo guests:
- The door code will be sent to the mobile number provided. There is no on-site check in as all fees have been paid in advance. Also, please note you are no longer able to charge incidentals to a home, villa or condo.

- Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Residences at Sweetgrass: 11 a.m.
- Wild Dunes Vacation Rental Homes and Condos: 10 a.m.
A late departure fee may be assessed for departures after the above times..
Transportation & Parking
Valet Parking
Wild Dunes offers valet service ($35/day) at Sweetgrass Inn, Residences at Sweetgrass and Boardwalk Inn.
Times for complimentary valet service at the SGP Conference Center:
- Monday/Tuesday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
After hours, keys left at the SGP Conference Center will be moved to the Sweetgrass Inn if they are not retrieved.
Group Tip for Valet Parking Staff
SCAC has provided a group tip for the valet parking attendants for the duration of the conference. An additional tip isn’t necessary but is appreciated if you choose to provide one. Please note that this tip does NOT cover resort restaurants and bars, only valet parking staff.
Self-Parking
Self-parking is very limited at Wild Dunes. There are two areas available for self-parking: the brick lot in front of the SGP Conference Center and the area around the tennis courts. Please note that it is first come, first serve.
Free Wild Dunes Resort Shuttles
If you need to get from your room to the SGP Conference Center or other parts of the resort, Wild Dunes offers complimentary shuttle service throughout the resort property.

Conference Golf Carts for Those with Mobility Issues
If you have mobility issues, please visit the Registration Desk in the SGP Conference Center and speak to an SCAC staff member to request a golf cart ride.
- Monday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8 a.m.–2:45 p.m. and 6:30.–10 p.m.
