Upcoming CLEs for government attorneys cover FOIA, mental health

The South Carolina Commission on Prosecution Coordination (SCCPC) is offering two free, in-person trainings in January.

The organization will conduct "FOIA Law and Issues for State and Local Government Agencies" from 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in Columbia.

This program is open only to attorneys who are involved in responding to FOIA requests for their employing city, county, state and federal government agencies. SCCPC will apply for 3.25 hours of continuing legal education credit for this program.

SCCPC also will conduct "Ethics and Mental Health and Substance Abuse" from 1:25-4:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in Columbia.

This program is open only to attorneys employed by city, county, state and federal government agencies.
