Spotlight: Mary Williams

This month’s SCAC team spotlight is Mary Williams. Mary has been a devoted member of the SCAC team for 23 years and worked for Richland County before joining the association. In her role as administrative assistant, she assists all departments and county officials and employees with administrative needs they may have. She also provides critical assistance to the association’s insurance claims department.

Her career goal has always been to have professional, friendly, loyal, and honest working relationships with her coworkers and association members. Mary enjoys being part of the SCAC family and is described by her colleagues as thoughtful, committed, and diligent. She is the voice and face of the association to many of our county officials and employees.  

Mary’s passion projects include volunteering with Harvest Hope, decorating, and helping people less fortunate by donating needed items, food, gifts, etc. She enjoys gathering with family and friends, traveling, watching great movies, and relaxing in her spare time. Her favorite quote is: “Always treat your fellow man the way you want to be treated!”
