The 2023 Annual Conference offers informative workshops with something for everyone. Join us on Wednesday, August 2, at the Sweetgrass Pavillion Conference Center.

1:30 p.m.

  • Carolyn Eagan of Guidehouse, Inc. and Mark Ritacco of NACo will discuss compliance and reporting for ARPA & LATCF.
  • Pickens County Council Vice Chairman and SCAC First Vice President Roy Costner will discuss building county partnerships.
  • Deborah Jordan of SC Parks, Recreation & Tourism, Bill Lane of the National Park Service, and Chad Rawls from the SC Department of Transportation will cover grant opportunities for counties seeking to enhance residents' quality of life.

2:45 p.m.

  • Finally, in our Legislative Lightning Round, Endra Curry of the SC Offices of Senate Research and Senate Majority, Mark Ritacco, and the SCAC Governmental Affairs team will give federal and state legislative updates.
