  • Completes or assists with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by knowledge of clerical procedures, computers, customer service principles and keyboarding skills.  A legal background is desired; and

The Project Coordinator manages, organizes, and facilitates numerous projects and assignments within the Sheriff’s Department’s Finance Division. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the procurement of goods and services, accounts payable, accounts receivable, data accumulation, revenue and expenditure forecasting, grant and contract management, budgetary request analysis and compilation, and budgetary monitoring and financial reporting.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Associate’s degree and/or 5 or more years of experience in governmental accounting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Qualification - At least five years of related experience.
