SCAC has created a new internet talk group through Yahoo for South Carolina county chief administrative officers and selected administrative staff.  The talk group can be found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scactalk. This talk forum was established in an effort to give South Carolina county chief administrative officers and administrative staff an opportunity to share information with each other in a timely manner. We also hope that it will allow SCAC to do quick polls and/or to send urgent legislative information more efficiently. There is no charge for this service. Currently, there are 55 members in the list representing 36 of the 46 counties.
