During SCAC’s Mid-Year Conference on February 15, 2017, county officials received a legislative update from Senator Greg Hembree and Representative Garry Smith. Sarah Niegsch Corbett from the S.C. Public Employee Benefit Authority provided a State Retirement Systems update. Danielle Maynard, S.C. Emergency Management Division, provided information on the new State Mutual Aid Agreement. Robert Cartner and Travis Shealy, S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, gave an overview of mosquito abatement resources. The executive director of S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority, Bonnie Ammons, discussed infrastructure grant funding opportunities. Their presentations are provided below for review.
