The South Carolina Association of Counties will hold its 39th Annual Conference  for county officials August 2-5, 2007 at the Hilton Head Marriott Beach & Golf Resort on Hilton Head Island.  Classes for the Institute of Government will be held August 2-3.  View the "Program At-A-Glance"

Registration

The registration fee for the annual conference covers the cost of coffee breaks, receptions, and the 2007 Annual Banquet for delegates and their spouses.  Registration for a county delegate is $345.00 until July 20; after that date and on-site, the fee is $370.00.  There is no additional charge for a spouse or guest to attend the annual banquet.  Tickets must be purchased for children who want to attend the annual banquet with their parents.  These tickets will be sold at the registration desk at actual cost, if available.

Payment Policy
The conference registration fee must be received before a registration can be processed.  A check will fulfill your registration at the time of submission -- registration fees in the form of a check should be made payable to the South Carolina Association of Counties.  Payment for a faxed or electronic registration must be received at the SCAC office within 48 hours after submitting the form.

Please note: We do not accept credit card payments.

Cancellations
To cancel a registration, you must notify the SCAC office in writing.  Registrations canceled by 5 p.m. on July 20 will be assessed a $25.00 service charge.  After this date, no refunds will be made -- no exceptions.

Hotel Information
The conference rate is $188.00  for a room, single or double.  The deadline for reservations is June 30, 2007.  No reservations will be taken over the telephone.  Space is limited. Registering prior to the cut-off date does not guarantee a room reservation.  For questions, please contact Nilda Padgett at 1-800-922-6081.
