SRF Loan Workshop - February 20, 2019

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and the RIA will be holding a FREE half day workshop to provide technical and financial information necessary to apply for infrastructure project funding. Technical and and financial representatives of local governments, special purpose districts and public works commissions as well as engineers and other interested persons are encouraged to attend.

Where: Midlands Technical College, Northeast Campus (151 Powell Road, Columbia, SC 29203)

When: February 20, 2019, from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Check-in begins at 9 am.

Grant Funds Availability Announced at Grant Workshop

The South Carolina Office of the Attorney General, Department jof Crime Victim Assistance Grants, will be announcing the availability of Victims of Crime Act, Violence Against Women Act, and State Victims Assistance Program grant funds at an upcoming workshop.

Registration: 9:30 a.m.
Workshop: 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

The workshop will provide nonprofit organizations, state agencies, and local units of government wit information regarding the application process, important due dates, and tips for successful grant writing. All applications will be submitted bia the new "AGO Grants Management System".

The AGO Grants Management System will be open to receive applications beginning at noon, Monday, March 18, 2019. Also, please make note that applications will be accepted online through the AGO Grants System until 5 p.m. on April 30, 2019.

These proposals will fund 12-month projects beginning October 1, 2019. Successful applications will include the following: a project budget, budget narrative, problem statement documenting need, project description, list of collaborating entities (if applicable), and specific and measurable outcomes and performance indicators as well as other required documents/attachments.
